As The Final Option moves into it's sixth year, we once again celebrate another 4th of July. Most of you know that it is at this time, that I scour the Internet for inspirational quotes that I feel are important to remember. This year is no different.
I wish everyone; teammates, friends, and visitors alike, a very happy and safe Fourth of July.
"Far better is it to dare mighty things, to win
glorious triumphs-even though checkered by failure
than to take rank with these poor spirits who
neither enjoy much or suffer much. Be wise, they
live in the gray twilight that know not of
victory, nor defeat. Nor true sorrow nor true
love."

Now, Konami of Europe have used this years Games Convention event in Leipzig, Germany, to premiere a new title for PC and PlayStation 2, entitled The Regiment, a realistic first-person shooter based on the legendary S.A.S. and due for release in 2005...

| New Titles: Close Combat: First to Fight |

As most of you know First to Fight released yesterday. I was the only one to get a copy on the first day so I'll do my best to review the game. There were only about 7 servers online yesterday but I'm sure there will be more today. Once connected to a server the player can select which side to be on as well as player profile and weapon. It also appears that respawns can be determined just like Ghost Recon ... team, individual, or none.
